Moss Rates is the official website for the Mossel Bay Rate Payers Association. Moss Rates is the united voice of Mossel Bay’s ratepayers. We are a non-profit, non-political association that brings together residents, homeowners, businesses, and community groups to safeguard our collective interests. Our role is to ensure municipal rates and charges remain fair, spending is transparent, and services are delivered responsibly. Above all, we stand for accountability — so that every rand collected is managed wisely and in the best interests of the community.
Moss Rates exists to protect the financial wellbeing of Mossel Bay’s ratepayers by:
Advocating for fair, inflation-linked municipal rates and service charges.
Demanding transparent financial management and responsible use of public funds.
Holding the Municipality accountable for service delivery and debt recovery.
Uniting residents, businesses, and local associations under one strong, representative body.
